48. and turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the country of the enemies who have taken them captive, and pray to you, turning towards the country which you gave to their ancestors, towards the city which you have chosen and towards the Temple which I have built for your name,

Deuteronomy 12:5: "But seek the place for the Lord your God to choose from all your tribes to put your name there for your dwelling; and you will turn there." This verse highlights the importance of having a central place of worship, such as Solomon's temple in Jerusalem.

Psalm 132:13-14: "For the Lord has chosen Zion; he desired it for his dwelling. This is my rest forever; here I will dwell, for I wished it." Matthew 21:13: "And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the House of Prayer; but you have converted to thieves." Jesus quotes this verse by expelling the temple's money changers and salespeople in Jerusalem, emphasizing the importance of keeping the temple as a place of worship and prayer.

John 2:19-21: "Jesus answered, and said unto them, Detrine this temple, and in three days I will lift him. The Jews said, in forty-six years, this temple was built, and thou shalt get him up in three Days? But he spoke of the temple of his body. " This verse is a reference to the body of Jesus as the new temple, emphasizing the importance of faith in Christ as the way to salvation.
