1 Chronicles, 21

12. "Take your choice between three years of famine; or three months of disaster at the hands of your enemies, with your enemies' sword overtaking you; or three days of Yahweh's sword, an epidemic in the country, while the angel of Yahweh wreaks havoc throughout the territory of Israel."

1 Chronicles 21 reports as David, encouraged by Satan, ordered an census of Israel, challenging God's law and challenging his confidence in God. As a result, God sent an angel to punish the people of Israel with a plague. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in 1 chronicles 21:

Exodus 30:12: "When you make the census of the children of Israel, each of them will give the Lord the rescue of his life when told; so that there is no plague between them, when counting them." This verse highlights the importance of following the laws of God, including the realization of censuses, in order to avoid divine wrath.

James 4:7-8: "Therefore, they submit to God. Resist the devil, and He will run away from you. They approach God, and He will approach you. Sinners, clean your hands, and you who have The divided mind, purify the heart. " This verse highlights the importance of submission to God, resistance to the devil, and pity for the purity of the heart.
