1 Corinthians, 15

58. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Verse im Zusammenhang mit 1 Corinthians, 15:

1 Corinthians 15 deals mainly on the resurrection of the dead and the victory over death through the resurrection of Christ. The following verses are related to this theme:

John 11:25-26: "Jesus said unto him, I am the resurrection and life. He who believes in me, even though he is dead, shall live; and everyone who lives, and believes in me, will never die. that?" These verses speak of the promise of eternal life through faith in Jesus and his resurrection.

Romans 6:5: "For we were united with him in the likeness of his death, certainly we will also be in the likeness of his resurrection." This verse highlights the connection between the death and resurrection of Christ and our own resurrection.

Philippians 3:21: "That will transform our deducted body, to be according to your glorious body, according to your effective power to subject you all things as well." This verse speaks of the transformation of our body to glorification, in accordance with the risen body of Christ.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: "For the Lord will descend from heaven with great cry, to the voice of the archangel, to the sound of the trumpet of God, and those who died in Christ will raise first. We will be snatched together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. " This verse speaks of the resurrection of the dead in Christ, preceding the rapture of the faithful to be with the Lord forever.

Revelation 21:4: "He shall wipe all tear from his eyes, and there will be no death, no weeping, no cry, no pain, because the first things are passed." This verse talks about eternal life in which there will be no more death, sadness or pain, but the joy and peace that derive from the victory over the death achieved by the resurrection of Christ.
