Genesis 10 is known as the "Nations Table" as it presents the genealogy of Noah's children and their respective nations. The chapter also describes the geographical distribution of these nations.
1 Chronicles 1:5 - "The Sons of Japhel: Gomer, Magogue, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meseque and Strips." This verse relates to Genesis 10 because Japé is one of Noah's sons and his offspring is listed in the nations table.
Isaiah 11:10 - "That day the root of Jesse will emerge as a standard of the peoples; the nations will turn to him, and his place of rest will be glorious." Revelation 7:9 - "After that I looked, and before me was a large crowd that no one could count, all nations, tribes, peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and lamb, dressed in white robes, with palms in the hands." This verse relates to Genesis 10 because it describes a future view of worship of God, which will include people from all nations, tribes, and tongues, including those listed in the nations table.
