Hosea, 4

1. Listen to the word of the Lord, sons of Israel, for the Lord is judge of the inhabitants of the land. Yet there is no truth, and there is no mercy, and there is no knowledge of God, in the land.

Isaiah 1:2-3: "I heard, O heavens, and hear, O earth; for the Lord said, I raised children, and magnified them; but they rebelled against me. Isaiah 44:9-10: "Those who make sculpture images are all vanity; and their most desirable things do not profit anything.
