1 Samuel, 1

24. When the child was weaned, Hannah took him with her along with a three-year-old bull, a measure of flour and a flask of wine, and she brought him to Yahweh's house at Shiloh. The child was still young.

Luke 1:46-47: "And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God, my Savior." This is the beginning of the song of Mary, the Mother of Jesus, who is similar to the song of Ana in 1 Samuel 2. Both women expressed their gratitude to God for their faithfulness and kindness.

James 5:16: "Confess, therefore, your sins to each other and pray for each other, to be healed. The prayer made by a righteous can much in its effects." This verse talks about the importance of prayer and mutual support in the Christian community, something Ana found in the house of God, where she poured her heart before the Lord.
