Zechariah 1 begins with a message from the Lord to the prophet Zechariah to call the people back to repentance and obedience to God's law. The chapter also features a series of visions and revelations given to the prophet, including the view of the horses and corn ears. Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans of peace and not evil, to give them a future and hope."
