Wisdom of Solomon, 2

16. It is as if we are considered by him to be insignificant, and he abstains from our ways as from filth; he prefers the newly justified, and he glories that he has God for his father.

Proverbs 3:34 - "He mocks the mocking, but he is generous with the humble." This verse talks about God's attitude towards arrogant and humble, which is in contrast to the attitude of the wicked in wisdom 2.

Proverbs 10:24 - "What the wicked fear, it comes to them, but the desire of the righteous is fulfilled." This verse talks about the consequences of bad deeds that the wicked in wisdom 2 think they will not have.
