10. Now it was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary of James, and the other women who were with them, who told these things to the Apostles.

John 11:25-26: "I am the resurrection and life. He who believes in me, even though he dies, will live; and all who lives and believes in me will not die, eternally." 1 Corinthians 15:17: "And if Christ has not risen, it is vain for your faith, and you are still in your sins." These words of Paul show the importance of Jesus' resurrection as the basis for the Christian faith and for the salvation of sins.
