18 Instead, with their arrows, they will put the little children to death, and they will take no pity on breastfeeding women, and their eye will not spare their children.

Isaiah 13 talks about God's judgment about Babylon and neighboring peoples because of their idolatry and oppression. The following verses relate to the themes of the chapter:

Jeremiah 50:15: "Shout at her everywhere! She surrendered; her columns fell, her walls were overthrown. This is the punishment of the Lord; let us get to her; let her what she deserves!" This verse shows God's judgment upon Babylon, fulfilling Isaiah's prophecy 13.

Isaiah 14:22-23: "I will get up against them, says the Lord of hosts, and will eliminate the name and the rest of Babylon, his descendants and his sons, says the Lord. The water of the lagation; and there will be no one who lives there, nor who dwells in it, from generation to generation. " This verse shows the complete destruction of Babylon by God.

" This verse talks about the judgment of Babylon in the last days, in accordance with the prophecies of Isaiah 13.

Jeremiah 51:7: "Babylon was a glass of gold in the hand of the Lord, who drunk the whole earth; the nations drank from their wine, so the nations are mad." This verse shows how Babylon has become a symbol of oppression and corruption for all nations, and how God will judge it for it.

Naum 1:2-3: "The Lord is the zealous and avenging God; the Lord is avenger and full of furor; the Lord takes revenge against his opponents and keeps the wrath to his enemies. but large in power, and in no way will the culprit innocent. " This verse shows that God is a righteous and vengeful God that will not allow injustice and oppression to remune.
