Jeremiah, 23

8. but rather, "As the LORD lives, who brought the descendants of the house of Israel up from the land of the north"--and from all the lands to which I banished them; they shall again live on their own land.

Isaiah 55:6: "Seek the Lord as long as one can find, invoke Him while it is near." This verse emphasizes the importance of seeking the Lord while he can still be found before it is too late. Judah's religious leaders neglected this search and led the people to follow false gods.

Ezekiel 34:2: "Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn't shepherd shepherds apart the sheep?" Matthew 23:23: "Woe to you, scribes, and Pharisees, hypocrites!
