Ezekiel 32 describes lamentation on the fall of Pharaoh from Egypt and its nation. The chapter talks about how Egypt will be defeated and his glory will be destroyed. Following are five verses related to the topics covered in Ezekiel 32:
Jeremiah 46:25: "The Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, says, Behold, I will punish Amom, of Thebes, along with Pharaoh and Egypt, and with their gods and kings; yes, I punish Pharaoh, and those who in it they trust. " This verse talks about God's judgment on Egypt and its leaders, including Pharaoh.
Isaiah 19:11-12: "In fact, the princes of Tanis are foolish; the wise counselors of Pharaoh give foolish counsel. How do you dare to say Pharaoh: I am the son of the wise, the son of the ancient kings? Where are they? Where are your wise men? May they tell you now, and know what the Lord of hosts has determined against Egypt. " This verse talks about the wisdom of Egypt's leaders to be insufficient to avoid their defeat before the power of God.
Isaiah 31:1: "Woe to those who come down to Egypt to seek help, and estimate in horses, and they are in cars, because they are many, and in the knights, because they are brave; and do not look at the saint of Israel, neither nor They seek the Lord! " This verse talks about the lack of confidence in God by Egypt and those who seek their help.
Jeremiah 46:17: "This is how your army was rejected as a mere branch; for the Lord expelled him with indignation, thy God, because serving with little faith." This verse talks about God's rejection to the army of Egypt because of his lack of faith.
Isaiah 19:16: "In that day the Egyptians shall be like women; they shall shake and fear before the strong hand of the Lord of hosts, which he will raise against them." This verse talks about the fear that Egypt will feel before the power of God in his defeat.
