2 Chronicles 20 reports how King Jehoshaphat faced a great threat of enemies from Moab and Ammon. He calls the people of Judah to seek God's help, and God responds to him through the prophet Jaaziel, who assures him that God will fight for them and give victory. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5: "The weapons we are struggling with are not human; on the contrary, they are powerful in God to destroy fortresses. We destroy arguments and all the pretense that rises against the knowledge of God, and we bring all thought captive, that they may obey Christ. " This verse highlights the importance of using the spiritual weapons God has given us to face the battles of life, and not trust only in our own strength or wisdom.
