Wisdom of Solomon, 3

14. Blessed, too, the eunuch whose hand commits no crime, and who harbours no resentment against the Lord: a special favour will be granted to him for his loyalty, a most desirable portion in the temple of the Lord.

The Book of Wisdom 3 talks about the lives of the righteous after death and how God welcomes them in His mercy. Psalm 23:6: "Certainly goodness and mercy will follow me every day of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23 is a psalm of trust and hope in God's care, which leads the righteous to dwell with him forever.
