Acts, 23

30. Acting on information that there was a conspiracy against the man, I hasten to send him to you, and have notified his accusers that they must state their case against him in your presence.'

Chapter 23 Acts of the Apostles narrates the continuation of the persecution suffered by Paul after his preaching in Jerusalem. He appears before the Sanhedrin and makes his defense, but is attacked by the Sadducees and needs to be protected by the Roman soldiers. Romans 8:28: "We know that God acts in all things for the good of those who love Him, of those who were called according to their purpose." This verse talks about how God can use all things, even the difficult ones, to fulfill His purpose in our lives.
