Ruth 2 deals with the story of Ruth, a Moabite widow who will harvest ears in the field of Boaz, a relative close to her late husband. In this chapter, Boaz's generosity and kindness is presented, which allows Ruth to collect ears in her field and still protects her and cares for her. In addition, the chapter also shows the relationship of care and loyalty between Ruth and his mother -in -law Naomi.
Proverbs 19:17: "He who treats the poor well lends to the Lord, and he will reward him, giving him everything he needs." This verse shows that God blesses those who treat the needy well, as Boaz did by allowing Ruth to harvest ears in his field.
Deuteronomy 24:19: "When you are reaping your grapes in your vineyard, don't go back to catch what you have left. " This verse shows the importance of leaving remains in the harvests for the needy, a custom that Boaz continues to order her workers to leave ears to Ruth.

This verse talks about divine protection and God's faithfulness, something that is evidenced in Ruth's history through the protection and care that Boaz offers her.
