Genesis, 47

17. And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread [in exchange] for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.

Genesis 47 narrates the continuation of Joseph's story and how he helped Pharaoh save Egypt from hunger by administering grain sales. 1 Timothy 5:8: "But if someone is not careful of yours, and especially those of their family, it has denied faith, and is worse than the unfaithful." Joseph took care of his family, providing them with land and food, even after they were sold as slaves and suffered many difficulties.

Philippians 4:19: "My God, according to His riches, will supply all your needs in glory by Christ Jesus." Provision of food and land for Jacob's family is an example of God's faithfulness to meet all our needs.
