Genesis, 2

Genesis 2 is the second chapter of the Bible and details the creation of man and woman for God. He describes how God created man from the dust of the earth and blew in his nostrils the breath of life, created the garden of Eden for man to dwell, put the man in the garden and gave him the task of cultivating him and keeping him, and created the woman from the man's rib. Next are five Bible verses that relate to topics addressed in Genesis 2:
Psalm 139:14: "I will praise you, because in such an admirable and wonderful way I was formed; wonderful are your works, and my soul knows it very well." This psalm highlights the creation of man by God, including the way he was created from the dust of the earth, as described in Genesis 2.
Proverbs 18:22: "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and reaches the benevolence of the Lord." This verse relates to the creation of women by God from the rib of man, as described in Genesis 2.
Ephesians 5:25: "You, husbands, love your women, as Christ also loved the Church, and He gave Himself for it." This verse relates to the creation of the wife by God and highlights the role of the husband in loving and taking care of his wife, as described in Genesis 2.
1 Corinthians 11:8-9: "For man does not come from his wife, but the woman of man. For the man was not raised because of the woman, but the woman because of the man." These verses relate to the creation of women by God from the rib of man and highlight the divine order in relation to the roles of man and woman.
Revelation 22:2: "In the middle of his square, one and another side of the river, was the tree of life, which produces twelve fruits, giving its fruit from month to month; and the leaves of the tree are for health nations. " This verse relates to the creation of the Garden of Eden by God, as described in Genesis 2, and highlights the presence of the tree of life in paradise.
