Psalms, 1

1. How blessed is anyone who rejects the advice of the wicked and does not take a stand in the path that sinners tread, nor a seat in company with cynics,

2. but who delights in the law of Yahweh and murmurs his law day and night.

3. Such a one is like a tree planted near streams; it bears fruit in season and its leaves never wither, and every project succeeds.

4. How different the wicked, how different! Just like chaff blown around by the wind

5. the wicked will not stand firm at the Judgement nor sinners in the gathering of the upright.

6. For Yahweh watches over the path of the upright, but the path of the wicked is doomed.

Proverbs 3:1-2: "My son, do not forget my law; and thy heart keep my commandments. For they will increase your days and add years of life and peace." This verse highlights how to follow God's law can lead to a longer and more peaceful life.

Jeremiah 17:7-8: "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose confidence is the Lord. For he will be like the tree planted by the waters, who extends his roots to the Ribeiro, and does not fear when he comes the Heat, but its leaf turns green; and in the year of sequidência is not stunned, nor fails to bear fruit. " This verse talks about the blessings that come to those who trust the Lord and how they can prosper and bear fruit in all circumstances.
