Jeremiah, 23

5. Yahweh further says, "The day is coming when I will raise up a king who is David's righteous successor. He will rule wisely and govern with justice and righteousness.

Isaiah 55:6: "Seek the Lord as long as one can find, invoke Him while it is near." This verse emphasizes the importance of seeking the Lord while he can still be found before it is too late. Judah's religious leaders neglected this search and led the people to follow false gods.

Ezekiel 34:2: "Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn't shepherd shepherds apart the sheep?"
