10. Then the anger of Yahweh blazed out against Uzzah, and he killed him because he had laid his hand on the ark, and he died there in the presence of God.

Proverbs 28:13: "Which covers your transgressions will never prosper, but what confesses them and will reach mercy." When Uzzá touched the ark of the covenant, he was disobeying God. Leviticus 10:3: "And Moses said to Aaron, This is what the Lord said, saying, I will be sanctified in those who come to me and be glorified before all the people."
