Leviticus, 26

39. But if some few of these still remain, they shall waste away in their iniquities, in the land of their enemies, and they will be afflicted, because of the sins of their fathers and their own sins,

Jeremiah 31:33: "But this is the concert that I will do with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, I shall put my law inside, and write it into His heart; and I will be your God and they will be my people.
