Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. (Genesis 1,3)

Then God said, "Let there be a dome in the middle of the waters, to separate one body of water from the other." And so it happened: (Genesis 1,6)

Then God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered into a single basin, so that the dry land may appear." And so it happened: the water under the sky was gathered into its basin, and the dry land appeared. (Genesis 1,9)

Then God said: "Let there be lights in the dome of the sky, to separate day from night. Let them mark the fixed times, the days and the years, (Genesis 1,14)

while as yet there was no field shrub on earth and no grass of the field had sprouted, for the LORD God had sent no rain upon the earth and there was no man to till the soil, (Genesis 2,5)

Then the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and he placed there the man whom he had formed. (Genesis 2,8)

A river rises in Eden to water the garden; beyond there it divides and becomes four branches. (Genesis 2,10)

The name of the first is the Pishon; it is the one that winds through the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. (Genesis 2,11)

The gold of that land is excellent; bdellium and lapis lazuli are also there. (Genesis 2,12)

The LORD God then built up into a woman the rib that he had taken from the man. When he brought her to the man, (Genesis 2,22)

the man said: "This one, at last, is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; This one shall be called 'woman,' for out of 'her man' this one has been taken." (Genesis 2,23)

That is why a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one body. (Genesis 2,24)
