And the men were afraid because they were brought to Joseph's house, and they said, "It is because of the money, which was replaced in our sacks the first time, that we are brought in, so that he may seek occasion against us and fall upon us, to make slaves of us and seize our asses." (Genesis 43,18)

Then you said to your servants, `Bring him down to me, that I may set my eyes upon him.' (Genesis 44,21)

For how can I go back to my father if the lad is not with me? I fear to see the evil that would come upon my father." (Genesis 44,34)

Then he fell upon his brother Benjamin's neck and wept; and Benjamin wept upon his neck. (Genesis 45,14)

And Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it upon the head of E'phraim, who was the younger, and his left hand upon the head of Manas'seh, crossing his hands, for Manas'seh was the first-born. (Genesis 48,14)

When Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of E'phraim, it displeased him; and he took his father's hand, to remove it from E'phraim's head to Manas'seh's head. (Genesis 48,17)

And Joseph said to his father, "Not so, my father; for this one is the first-born; put your right hand upon his head." (Genesis 48,18)

And Joseph saw E'phraim's children of the third generation; the children also of Machir the son of Manas'seh were born upon Joseph's knees. (Genesis 50,23)

"When you serve as midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the birthstool, if it is a son, you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, she shall live." (Exodus 1,16)
