So Abim'elech called Isaac, and said, "Behold, she is your wife; how then could you say, `She is my sister'?" Isaac said to him, "Because I thought, `Lest I die because of her.'" (Genesis 26,9)

So Abim'elech warned all the people, saying, "Whoever touches this man or his wife shall be put to death." (Genesis 26,11)

the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac's herdsmen, saying, "The water is ours." So he called the name of the well Esek, because they contended with him. (Genesis 26,20)

And he moved from there and dug another well, and over that they did not quarrel; so he called its name Reho'both, saying, "For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land." (Genesis 26,22)

They said, "We see plainly that the LORD is with you; so we say, let there be an oath between you and us, and let us make a covenant with you, (Genesis 26,28)

Then Jacob made a vow, saying, "If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear, (Genesis 28,20)

and she called his name Joseph, saying, "May the LORD add to me another son!" (Genesis 30,24)

But Laban said to him, "If you will allow me to say so, I have learned by divination that the LORD has blessed me because of you; (Genesis 30,27)

But God came to Laban the Aramean in a dream by night, and said to him, "Take heed that you say not a word to Jacob, either good or bad." (Genesis 31,24)
