With whomsoever of thy servants it be found, both let him die, and we also will be my lord's bondmen. (Genesis 44,9)

And we said unto my lord, The lad cannot leave his father: for [if] he should leave his father, [his father] would die. (Genesis 44,22)

And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when yet [there was] but a little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath; the same [is] Bethlehem. (Genesis 48,7)

And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers. (Genesis 48,21)
