Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight. (2 Samuel 22,25)

And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as [it is] this day. Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness. (1 Kings 8,32)

My son, be mindful of the Lord our God all thy days, and let not thy will be set to sin, or to transgress his commandments: do uprightly all thy life long, and follow not the ways of unrighteousness. (Tobit 4,5)

Prayer is good with fasting and alms and righteousness. A little with righteousness is better than much with unrighteousness. It is better to give alms than to lay up gold: (Tobit 12,8)

For alms doth deliver from death, and shall purge away all sin. Those that exercise alms and righteousness shall be filled with life: (Tobit 12,9)

Let all men speak, and let all praise him for his righteousness. (Tobit 13,8)
