Abraham removed from thence to the south country, and dwelt between Cedes and Sur, and sojourned in Gerara. (Genesis 20,1)

And he was a sojourner in the land of the Palestines many days. (Genesis 21,34)

And when Abraham had heard this, he weighed out the money that Ephron had asked, in the hearing of the children of Heth, four hundred sicles of silver of common current money. (Genesis 23,16)

And pouring out the pitcher into the troughs, she ran back to the well to draw water: and having drawn she gave to all the camels. (Genesis 24,20)

But he musing beheld her with silence, desirous to know whether the Lord had made his journey prosperous or not. (Genesis 24,21)

Wishing prosperity to their sister, and saying: Thou art our sister, mayst thou increase to thousands of thousands, and may thy seed possess the gates of their enemies. (Genesis 24,60)

And sojourn in it, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee: for to thee and to thy seed I will give all these countries, to fulfill the oath which I swore to Abraham thy father. (Genesis 26,3)
