These are the generations of the heaven and the earth, when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the heaven and the earth: (Genesis 2,4)

These are the families of Noe, according to their peoples and nations. By these were the nations divided on the earth after the flood. (Genesis 10,32)

These are the generations of Sem: Sem was a hundred years old when he begot Arphaxad, two years old when he begot Arphaxad, two years after the flood. (Genesis 11,10)

And these are the generations of Thare: Thare begot Abram, Nachor, and Aran. And Aran begot Lot. (Genesis 11,27)

All these came together into the woodland vale, which now is the salt sea. (Genesis 14,3)
